Doug took Ethan yesterday to the lab for his allergy testing blood draw. He was brave (both Doug and Ethan), and cried only a little (Ethan, not Doug). God bless the girl who drew his blood-she got it on the first stick. After it was over he got to choose a sticker. With all of the boy themed choices, Ethan picked out two sparkly kitty stickers, one of which says "diva". They are stuck back to back on a tongue depressor making a kitty flag. Avery has FINALLY lost her first tooth. She was so happy! I keep asking her to smile because she looks so cute. The tooth fairy forgot until bedtime that this momentous event had occurred. She could only round up four quarters, which is not much compared to what she has brought Erin and Owen in the past. So the next day she brought a nail polish set and some white board markers, which coincidentally Avery had just been asking for.
