Vacation Highlights

• We spent as much time as possible in the water...either on the beach, in the pool, or floating in the lazy river.


• We (and by we I mean Doug, Jim and Rob mostly) built several good sandcastles that got lots of compliments from passers by.


• NO Jellyfish stings!!!! YEA!!


• We got to see one sand shark that was caught off the shore where we were swimming. It looked like a tiny great white, about 2 feet long.


• The kids were able to do some crab hunting and fishing at night with their head lamps. Three fish and lots of small crabs were caught to look at.


• We went putt putting at a place that included a cool train ride to the top of the "mountain".


• We rode beach bikes (see the picture of the kids in last post).


• We ate and ate and ate.


• Owen went golfing with the guys and drove the cart.


• We stayed put and rode out tropical storm Hanna. It was pretty cool since we felt safe in our condo. SUPER windy.
