Pass the peace, please.

It seems like every where I look these past few days, I am finding constant reassurances of God's control. Today in church was awesome, and if you are interested check out their website here, and then click on podcasts. Anything you find on there is worth the time it will take you to listen. And then on A Soft Place to Land this morning I find this:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Phillipians 4:6-7
So...today I am celebrating the fact that I am not in control, and resting on His promises. He knows I need some of that peace that passes all understanding.

Wow. Good stuff. We have had a pretty stressful couple of weeks worrying about Jack and then the usual trying to keep the peace... I like the passage you put in. After writing my blog to night, reading your note has helped me remember... I will sleep better tonight.
