I decided to photograph our backyard tonight becuase
1. the light was pretty as the sun was going down, and
2. it will look a ton different at the end of the summer.
Used to be the playset, now it’s a garden and the lumber will be part of the coop. Sandbox will stay and eventually have sand. :)

Kevin and Lucky digging on their new home in the garage. The fresh air suits them. We dug two worms tonight and threw them in and these two chicks went NUTS! They pulled the worm to bits and ran around chasing each other with pieces in their mouths. It was gross.
In this bed is snap peas, bush beans, broccoli and cukes.
This bed is strawberries, potatoes, tomatoes and salsa peppers.
Backyard before. Soon to come: fence, coop/shed, apple/pear/cherry trees, compost bin, shade trees, berry bushes.
