The kids are home on this, their first official day of Christmas Break. Doug is at work and Ethan is taking medicine that makes him Jekyll and Hyde. So far more Jekyll than Hyde, but I'm waiting...
The living room has been transformed into a house/fort/lair/lab. So far the kids have gone from playing house to spies, then back to house, then back to spies, and now some strange spy/superhero combo. They have spent the last 30 minutes discussing (ahem) who does what. First, they had gadgets. Some were lasers. Some broke lasers, and one shot web. Avery had a marker that she said was lipstick that was actually a gadget that shot out a gas that made you do something. But it's non toxic.
Avery's powers are flipping and cartwheels. Owen said that is not powers those are tricks. Erin's powers were lava and speed. Owen's power was forcefield, or laser shooting, or something like that. Then they decided that you could only have two powers. Avery choose ice power and speed. Owen choose stink power and laser. Erin choose invisibility and lava. Owen wanted to switch to force field, but Erin informed him that, duh, invisibility includes force field.
