This isn't a project, just my latest genius idea! If you have children or a hubby or anything that breathes oxygen in your house, then you have stuff out of place. These baskets migrated from a closet to the steps, got a lovely label change, and now are the landing place for all of the stuff that is lovingly referred to as "please take this to your room" or the more popular, "if this doesn't disappear in the next 4.3 seconds, I am throwing it away".
Project 1: Ugly bookshelf in the landing pad room. Currently Doug's only designated personal space in the whole house (top shelf only). New coat of black paint and a little reorganization will go a long way. Doug may also be evicted from his shelf.
Project 2: White writing desk resued from girls room. White chair rescued from someone's trash yesterday. Desk will get nice coat of black paint, and new knob. It will now and forever be mine. Ultimate location in house, TBD.

nice chair. i really want a cushioned chair for my computer desk.
the cork -- yes, i will be hanging some thing(s) from it. it should be bills, but who wants that in their face all the time! something cute/pretty/fun. i need to go to Homegoods.
