Adkins version of “let’s get ready for Thanksgiving.”
1. Wake up grouchy because it’s not a school day, yet everyone still got out of bed at the CRACK OF DAWN.
2. Walk past the TWELVE loads of laundry that need to be done before you can leave the house today.
3. Walk past them again.
4. Listen to the kids blasting “Hollaback Girl”, “Hit Me with Your Best Shot” and “Material Girl.” {what?}
5. Waste time looking at all the blog posts that have been updated since yesterday.
6. Eat breakfast three times.
7. Nurse the same cup of coffee for three hours. Reheat in the microwave as necessary.
8. Shower.
9. Realize that it’s nearly 10 o’clock am, and it’s time to get cracking.
10. Inspect kid’s “clean” bedrooms. Instruct them to try again.
11. Go into own room and wonder if there is carpet under all the clothes and miscellany on the floor.
12. Feel like a hypocrite.
13. Start the cleaning frenzy in own room.
Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!!

I can understand the clothes all over the floor but not the bad mood, especially when you have 'time' in the middle of the day (that a boy Doug!).
1.I don't want to know what Matt is speaking of, but I can only guess.
2.Don't you know that laundry is a sin on holidays.
